EP-Review: Crossfaith – FREEDOM

Today, August 04, 2017, the new Crossfaith EP „FREEDOM“ was released. It contains three songs with a total duration of around 11 minutes. For this EP Crossfaith featured Rou Reynolds from Enter Shikari and Jesse for two of the three songs.

With this EP they rock the shit out of themselves and their fans. It’s kinda the typical Crossfaith-sound (that shouldn’t sound negative) and something new. It’s danceable, you can headbang and jump into a mosh or circle pit. You can scream the shit out of yourself and sing along. It’s full of energy and you can’t get enough of the songs. The perfect songs for a live performance!

I like the rap-part from Rou Reynolds in „Freedom“. It’s something different and fits perfectly to the songs. „Rockstar steady“ is really great with the addition of Jesse, too. Diavolos reminds me of older Crossfaith songs and is the perfect ending of this EP.

It’s a perfect three-song constellation and works like an appetizer for more. Hopefully the new album won’t take that long.

  1. Freedom (feat. Rou Raynolds)
  2. Rockstar Steady (feat. Jesse)
  3. Diavolos

You absolutely have to listen to it!

Stay tuned!
